You just don't see the forest because of the trees; you are too busy focusing on parts or pieces and not the entire project as a whole.
Sometimes things don't work as initially intended and it is enough to shift your focus to the bigger picture. This is what has happened to facilitate the changes being implemented in the Shop at Heirloom Angel. When I started listing products in the shop over a year ago, I was focused on obtaining customers and remaining both relevant and competitive in a highly competitive market. I wracked my brain and tweaked and fine-tuned coupon rewards and shipping deals until I thought I had it perfected. I was wrong.
There's an old saying I'm sure you've heard which goes something along the lines of, "You can't please all of the people all of the time..." In a sense, that is what I've been trying to do all along. I was attempting to focus on the *flash* and not the substance, by offering shipping discounts, free shipping, huge sales and anything else that would bring potential customers to the site.
