A Christmas Miracle

Above is a photo of a literally melted plastic face plate and burnt element from a hot water heater.  The cotton-looking material is insulation.  This situation had so many reasons to cause a house fire; but it didn't.  I consider that a miracle.

This happens to be from my hot water heater and was discovered Tuesday morning.  I am once again reminded how fragile life is; how quickly things can change.  I am eternally grateful that the good Lord was watching over us!
